COMMIT Foundation - Bozeman, MT.

The COMMIT Foundation plays a crucial role in assisting veterans as they transition from military to civilian life, acknowledging the significant challenges they face during this process. The structured environment and clear purpose of military service often contrast sharply with the complexities of civilian life, leaving veterans to grapple with issues like identity, employment, and social reintegration.

Recognizing these challenges, the COMMIT Foundation provides tailored support and resources to help veterans achieve personal and professional success in the civilian world. With a mission to change the trajectory of veterans' lives, the foundation focuses on individual empowerment, professional development, and community engagement.

The COMMIT program encompasses four key components designed to aid veterans in their transition: One-on-One Transition Assistance, Workshops and Retreats, Professional Networking and Mentorship, and Educational Resources and Tools. Through the utilization of these components, the COMMIT Foundation has made a profound impact on the lives of countless veterans.  Veterans often report increased confidence, clearer career direction, and a stronger sense of community after participating in the program.

In 2023, the JTMF Foundation began our support of the COMMIT Foundation's mission by offering a two-year grant totaling $200,000, specifically to aid in the foundation's expansion into the Pacific Northwest. This partnership not only changes individual lives but also strengthens communities and enhances the broader workforce by addressing the unique challenges veterans face and providing them with the necessary tools and support for success in civilian life.

The JTMF Foundation is proud to support our veterans and organizations like COMMIT Foundation who are making a difference in their lives.
