Seed to Table - Sisters, OR

Building community through fresh vegetables is at the heart of the Sisters based non-profit, Seed to Table Oregon. Seed to Table Farm sits on four acres and was founded in 2013. The mission of the organization is to increase the health and wellness of the Central Oregon community through providing equitable access to farm fresh produce and providing opportunities in farm-based education. One of their programs is The Little Farmers Summer Program.

The Little Farmers Summer Program is for young learners, age 0-5, who come and explore the farm during the summer with their caregivers to engage in hands-on farm activities. Activities range from planting, watering, and harvesting, to feeding the cows, and doing scavenger hunts with their caregivers. They also prepare snacks with participants and send everyone home with fresh vegetables. Seed to Table Oregon offers weekly sessions for 8 weeks between June and August. Each session is free and open to the public.

The JTMF Foundation is proud to help support children, families and the fun work being done for them by Seed to Table Oregon.
